Marina Shinagawa is one of Kotoko Aihara's classmates and first friends upon entering Nursing School. At the start she choose the Nursing career in order to meet a well-off doctor whom she can marry and live comfortably with, but after meeting Kotoko, she start her career for better things.
Appearance[]
Marina has shiny, carmine hair, which seems to be layered, as from her short fringe onwards, her bangs develop around her face, the pieces that are on her shoulders are much shorter than what covers her trapezius' general area. She has medium-sized, deep-brown eyes, a pointed, triangular nose and full lips, giving her a mature look.
She is mostly seen wearing low-cut shirts, which cover her arms but show slight cleavage - These shirts of hers come in darkish colors, like forest green. She also seems to enjoy turtle-neck sweaters.
Personality[]
Marina is a playful woman, who knows what she wants - to marry a rich doctor. She doesn't exactly take her studies seriously and is willing to mingle with doctors, in order to live comfortably. Along with most other girls, she admires Naoki Irie quite alot. Sometimes she's envious of Kotoko, but she knows how much they love each other. She's good friend of Kotoko. Funatsu is in love with her.
